What they won’t tell you about this
The spacious rooms had breathtaking views, and the balcony provided a wonderful private space. Plus, the children's play areas were perfect for family-friendly stays! !
Inconsistent service from the staff impacted our enjoyment, and the slow food service made dining less pleasant. The room cleanliness was also a concern.

It was just an ideal choice for a brief pit stop in Davos, great for the money. The food was excellent during breakfast, even though it was a bit pricier for the kids. Just order tap water instead of getting charged for bottled water.

Our dining experience was disappointing. The breakfast options were scarce and uninspired, with cold coffee and empty fruit trays. Additionally, we found it frustrating that the hotel didn’t offer an acceptable transfer service to the city center, leaving us stranded without good alternatives.

The decor was simply stunning, blending elegance with comfort. The natural light streaming through the windows created a warm atmosphere, making it feel like a cozy retreat. Access for seniors was easy, with well-placed seating throughout the hotel.
More seating in common areas would be nice.

The warm open-air pool was fantastic for relaxation after our days of skiing, while the cinema kept my kids entertained. The hotel's kids club was a huge hit, providing activities that allowed us some downtime to enjoy the stunning mountainside views.
My kids wished there were more food options for picky eaters.

The stay showcased fantastic views from a spacious room equipped with a Nespresso machine. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety, though it would benefit from more diverse dining options throughout the day. The service was top-notch from the concierge and restaurant staff, but the reception experience was uncoordinated and disappointing, especially regarding check-in and luggage. The warm outdoor pool and overall atmosphere made the visit worthwhile, but improvements to front desk operations are needed.

I spent a couple of nights at Alpengold Hotel and found it quite enjoyable overall. The views from the balcony were breathtaking, surrounded by the stunning mountains. The location made it easy to access nearby trails. Staff members were friendly, always willing to help, and created a welcoming atmosphere. The spa facilities offered a fantastic way to relax after a day of activities. However, I found the room a bit cramped with an extra bed, which made it feel a little tight for space. Some furnishings had dust, and the cleanliness of the cushions and duvet covers could be improved. Getting a seat in the common areas was often challenging, especially during peak hours. Despite these few negatives, the friendly staff and beautiful location made it a memorable stay.

The warm open-air pool was amazing, and the cinema kept us entertained. We loved the in-house sports shop for our ski gear. It's a great spot to relax after a day on the slopes.
One downside was the limited dining options within the hotel during our stay. We ended up having to look outside for better meals.
